Actress Afroza Hossain has passed away. She breathed her last at her home in Kalyanpur, Dhaka, at 6 AM today, Sunday (November 10). Actress Monira Mithu confirmed the news of her death on social media.
Monira Mithu expressed her grief, writing, "Sister, who will I talk to on the phone three times a day now? Who will give me courage? What will I say to comfort your son Naeem?
I am in Tangail, and such unfortunate that I couldn't say my final goodbye to you. You go, I will come, sister." Afroza Hossain was diagnosed with cervical cancer in September 2022, which gradually spread to her spinal bones. She was also taken to India for treatment.
