Students are about to get a continuous one and a half months of vacation.
Students from government and private educational institutions across the country will enjoy a continuous 40-day holiday.
According to the academic calendar, this holiday will start on March 2 and end on April 8. Additionally, the SSC and equivalent examinations will begin on April 10. Institutions that serve as examination centers for these tests will have a long break of 70 days.
Mohammad Yunus Faruki, Deputy Director (Secondary) of the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education, informed the media that the holiday will start with Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr, along with some other holidays, totaling nearly 40 days.
This holiday will be applicable to all levels of schools, both public and private. According to the academic calendar, the holidays for the holy month of Ramadan, the auspicious Dol Yatra, Independence Day, Jumaatul Wida, Shab-e-Qadr, and Eid al-Fitr will begin on March 2 and end on April 8.
The holy month of Ramadan is expected to start on March 1 or 2. Due to the holidays on February 28 and March 1 (Friday and Saturday), the last class in educational institutions will be held on February 27 (Thursday). Thus, there will be a continuous break of 40 days.
Meanwhile, the SSC and equivalent examinations for this year will commence on April 10. Institutions that will be used as examination centers for these tests will have a continuous break of 2 months and 10 days.
