Professor Syed Akhtaruzzaman, president of the Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee and chairman of the Dhaka Education Board, said, “We had tried to publish the results by July 20, but that was not possible. We will now have the results ready between July 27 and 28. After that, the results will be published on the date set by the Education Ministry.”
An official from the Secondary and Higher Education Division of the Education Ministry said that if the boards could prepare the results by July 28, it would be possible to publish them within the current month. The date could be July 30, he said.
The written examinations for this year’s SSC and equivalent examinations ended on May 20. According to regulations, the results are supposed to be published within 60 days of the examinations ending.
Accordingly, the results were expected to be published by July 20. However, the education boards have been unable to publish the results even after the deadline passed.
