Three people were found dead at a house in Sylhet Metropolitan City on Wednesday morning, in what police described as a triple murder.
The bodies of a husband and wife and their domestic worker were recovered from House No. 111 in the Mitali Residential Area of Raynagar.
The deceased have been identified as Abdus Sattar Mia, 82, his 72-year-old wife, and their 25-year-old domestic worker.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) Khan Md Moinul Zakir of Sylhet Kotwali Model Police Station confirmed the incident.
He said police went to the scene after receiving information about the triple murder from local residents. Police recovered the bodies and are investigating the incident to determine the circumstances and motive behind the killings.
