Iran on Tuesday warned European nations against getting involved in the ongoing conflict alongside Israel and the United States, after Germany, the United Kingdom, and France signaled they could take “defensive measures” to destroy Iran’s missile-launch capabilities.
Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei, responding to questions during a press briefing, stated that such actions would be equivalent to war. He emphasized that any move against Iran would be considered collaboration with aggressors and treated as a direct act of war against the country.
Baghaei also urged the United Nations Security Council to take immediate steps to halt the ongoing conflict involving Israel and the United States.
He said the Security Council has a responsibility and, if willing, can take action, stressing that the only obstacle to its intervention would be its own determination.
